Charlotte Wedding Venue: Separk Mansion

In 2024, I worked at over 25 wedding venues and while each one is beautiful in its own way, it was Separk Mansion's Italian renaissance architecture and gardens that I couldn't stop thinking about. In the Charlotte area, I often see venues that look very similar to each other. They are one big room, with a concrete floor, and a modern white farmhouse/barn look. Both locations have taken pride in preserving the historical elements of their buildings. The Esquire Hotel also has a delicious restaurant called Barristers, perfect for your rehearsal dinner the night before.

The golden cream color of Separk Mansion's facade pairs perfectly with any color palette. So whether you are having a black tie wedding with minimal color or a spring wedding drenched with it, the venue is going to compliment your color palette.

The exterior of the building isn't the only showstopper, the black and white tile room on the side of the building makes for the most stunning couple's portrait location. Surrounded by windows, the room has beautiful natural light that makes any photo look good. In addition to the black and white tile room, there is a gorgeous staircase at the center of the home and the bridal and groom suites are decorated beautifully.
