Marleigh and Brendan had the most magical waterfall session on the Potomac River. Originally, they wanted a session at Harper's Ferry. Since that location was over 5 hours from me, I knew I would have to charge an overnight travel fee. After they realized how far the location was, we brainstormed ideas on closer and identical locations for their engagement shoot!
While they were deciding on a new and closer location, my dad asked me, out of nowhere, if I wanted to go to Harpers Ferry to hike. I was SHOCKED!! Hiking is one of our favorite activities to do together, so this wasn't the surprising part. However, we had never talked about hiking in WV for a weekend trip. I had never even heard of Harpers Ferry before Marleigh mentioned it to me. I truly believe that the Lord had His hand over this. This session was meant-to-be.
My parents and I spent the day before their session hiking a mountain and finding all the good views. We ended up stumbling upon a waterfall of all things! While this wasn't in the original plan, we added this stop to Marleigh & Brendan's engagement session and OH MY. It was the perfect ending to an already perfect shoot.
